Tom Bean Youth Sports is embarking on a ambitious project to add three new ball fields and update the existing field along highway 11 to support the growing number youth baseball and softball participants and their families. (Read more below)
Tom Bean Youth Ball Fields Capital Improvement Project
The Tom Bean Youth Sports Board and community members are undertaking a multi-phase field improvement project along highway 11, next to the Tom Bean High School football stadium.
Phase One of the project will improve the existing youth field and add an additional field (Field 2), which is slated to be ready for the 2024 baseball/softball season.
Phase Two will include Field 3, Field 4, and construct new concessions and fan areas for the ‘25 season.

Update Field 1 and Field 2 for 2024 Season
Add backstop, dugouts, and 700’ of fencing to Field 2

Add significant drainage relief between parking lot and Field 1
Add boardwalk entrance that will serve as handicap ramp as well as passage through wet areas
Add a gravel walkway from parking lot to Field 2
